Assistive Technology Application Requirements
Please Note: Requests for individualized adaptive furniture such as desks, chairs, or screens cannot be considered due to each hosting colleges room layouts.
Please review the following steps and requirements before applying for scholarships with Clary Garden.
1. All applications will be reviewed by the Clary Garden Board of Directors.
2. All scholarships are granted on a per semester basis.
3. Applicants may be required to meet with a representative from Clary Garden prior to scholarship review from the Board. Due to the unique nature of our educational support we ask that applicants personally articulate their personal intentions to the best of their ability.We feel the students themselves are responsible for participating in the process of requesting a scholarship. It is important to our mission that all students voice their intentions in their own way.
4. Assistive Technology scholarships will be granted on the feasibility of the request and the necessity of the individual student. Small desktop requests will be considered, ie large font workbooks, larger keyboards, laptops, ipads, trackball mice.

6. Priority for granting scholarships for Assistive Technology will be given to 1st time applicants.
9. Students who are granted scholarships may be asked to participate in fundraising events.
10. Students who apply for scholarships grant Clary Garden permission to use photographs in promotional material, including but not limited to brochures and websites.
